“With the new proposal we plan to implement, I hope to be able to deliver A/L and O/L results in the shortest possible time, saving at least a year and a half of our student life from entering a university or a higher education institution after the exams.” The Leader of the House of Parliament of Sri Lanka, Minister of Education Dinesh Gunawardena stated.

Speaking at a function held recently, the Minister said that the curriculum will be designed to enable all students entering the university to learn IT and that it is a universally accepted task to extend this status to schools.
