RevolUX 3.0, the much-anticipated designathon hosted by AIESEC in University of Colombo, in collaboration with the IEEE Student Branch of UCSC, has concluded on a remarkable high note. Held for the third consecutive year, this event provided a unique platform for aspiring designers to showcase their skills and creative prowess.
The Journey to RevolUX 3.0:
The road to RevolUX 3.0 was paved with months of meticulous preparation and unwavering dedication. Kicking off with an awareness session on January 7th, the event garnered immense interest, with registrations pouring in from enthusiastic undergraduate teams across Sri Lanka. RevolUX 3.0 was more than just a competition; it was a comprehensive learning experience. The organizers curated a series of three workshops, each designed to equip participants with the essential tools and knowledge required to excel in the field of UI/UX design.
The first workshop, held virtually on January 15th, introduced participants to Figma, a powerful design tool that would become their canvas for creativity. The second workshop, conducted in person on February 16th, delved into the intricacies of the design process and UI/UX guidelines, arming contestants with the necessary foundations for successful designs.
